Motherhood

DSC06517_edited.jpg

Motherhood can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly challenging. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, recovering from a difficult or traumatic birth, adjusting to life with a new baby, or stepping into parenthood through adoption, surrogacy, or other paths—this transition can stir complex emotions.

You may be grieving the birth experience you hoped for, feeling overwhelmed by the demands of caregiving, navigating hormonal changes, lack of sleep, questioning your mental health or your identity in this new role. Many mothers feel isolated or hesitant to share how hard it really feels, fearing judgment or misunderstanding.

Therapy can provide a space to pull apart the confusing options around what's best for you and your child, most especially confusing when struggling with postpartum anxiety, depression, or even rage. A compassionate, non-judgmental space can help you explore these feelings. Together, we can process difficult experiences, support your mental health, strengthen your coping strategies, and help you reconnect with yourself as you navigate motherhood in your own unique way.

There is no “right” way to feel about becoming a mother—and you don’t have to face it alone.
